Trendy North Henderson found ‘The Love Chef’ a guest during my last TV visit. The Porch is a handsome new addition.

I am sure when you visit The Porch you will notice the kitchen is really pumping and the crowds thick. A large hip bar and open kitchen and some creative dishes.

Balsamic Chicken & Roasted Vegetable Greek – butter lettuce, olive, tomato and crumbled feta with spicy lemon herb dressing @ $15.00

Blackened Tuna – chopped lettuces, grilled pineapple, hearts of palm, smoked red peppers, pickled red onions and spiced peanuts with orange-white balsamic vinaigrette @ $17.00.

Braised short rib stroganoff – brown buttered parm noodles @ $18.00.

Mustard crusted filet of salmon – chopped tomato, cucumber and basil @ $17.00.

Garlic and horseradish crusted prime rib – 14 oz. Straight Up or Marked and herb au jus @ $25.00.

Pounded Chicken Parm – red pear tomatoes, mozzarella, red onion and basil salad @ $18.00.

Smoked slab of baby back ribs – tangy cole slaw and house BBQ sauce @ $19.00.

Baked crab stuffed pasta shells – Dungeness crab, whipped ricotta, mozzarella, roasted garlic and spinach @ $18.00.

Pilsner tempura’d fish & chips – sweet dill’d tartar sauce @ $15.00.

Grilled swordfish piccata – warm grilled squash salad @ $19.00.

A varied and interesting selection of wines. Also by the glass.
