Walk into the room and 'The Love Chef' is sitting at the bar -- please don't tell anyone 'bout this place -- it's a secret in the heart of Manhattan, and my favorite joint. The Italian food is some of the best in New York City -- and service the same. Unpretentious and affordable BUT DON'T TELL ANYONE it's my favorite hangout!

The bar is up front and friendly -- catch up with the regulars. The pretty pink interior is very accommodating to ladies (and men). This neighborhood has welcomed FINO's as has the garment center on the other side of Fifth Avenue. It's a win/win situation.

The Food

Homemade, from fettucine to my favorite "Pappardelle Boscaida" @ $15.00. A rich stock with Wild Mushrooms and Mascarpone Cheese with a touch of plum tomatoes.

My Principessa loves -- the Pollo "Principessa" -- chicken with cheese in a lemon sauce @ $15.00.

Costoletta di Vitello -- Quatro Sopari -- Veal Chops stuffed with four cheeses in wine sauce @ $20.00.

Scaloppine di Vitello "Mt. Etna" @ $15.00. Veal Scaloppine with peppers and balsamic vinegar.

Dentice Favorita -- Red Snapper with fennel and pine nuts @ $19.00.

Oh, don't tell them I told you but -- I have Calamari "Dante" after a long trip. Calamari with hot cherry pepper tomatoes, garlic and herbs @ $16.00.

FINO is the kind of restaurant that is willing to please and guaranteed to make your evening memorable.
