Selva is an upscale, trendy/hip restaurant among the Sarasota eateries. Many of their dishes reflect the “tower trend”; high is better, a visual masterpiece, but the kitchen delivers with exceptional ingredients and choices.

Some Menu Ideas:

Ceviches are a classic, a must here! Try several and share ideas: Pulpo al Oliveo slices of octopus, black olive puree, salsa, avocado and toasted bread @ $17 the plate.

The Triologia is a ceviche sample – fresh White Fish, Tuna and Shrimp all in their respective sauces @ $13 the plate and the list goes on.

Some Entrees:

Inca Cod – cod, stewed spicy tomato, chorizo and rice wrapped in plantain leaf and fine roasted corn @ $28 the plate.

The whole Fried Snapper is a popular dish here. Cuban style black beans and rice with a lime and ginger sauce @ $36 the plate.

And my fav Malbec Braised Short Ribs prepared in a sweet demi-glaze and served with Israeli curry cous cous risotto and roasted asparagus @ $34 the plate.
