The Lobster Pot, a 30 year tradition of fine dining, has had a redo – not the restaurant but the interior, with more in the planning – including an outside garden patio (keep tuned).
The new Martini Lounge is an attractive adult space that features live smooth jazz performers to cap off a perfect meal or start to your evening.
Great attentive professional staff have been with The Lobster Pot for many years.
As its namesake, LOBSTER is the main attraction; whole Maine lobsters are steamed or broiled with a shrimp/scallop stuffing or thermidor-style @ $36, $38, $39, respectively.
This is where you want to eat perfectly prepared lobster, but you must start with their famous Lobster Bisque @ $6.75 the bowl (take another bowl home to enjoy it again tomorrow). Rich and thick with a splash of sherry on top makes it heavenly.
The Lobster Pot’s Escargot is a great starter @ $9.50.
Other varieties, such as Lobster Tails from Maine/the Caribbean/South Africa priced from $28 to $51.
All fish is prepared to chef’s hi-standards. This evening a Sea Bass entree seared in herbs/Parmesan served in a roasted tomato sauce @ $18.29 (a great value) was just superb.
Steaks don’t take a backseat. These are fresh cut, all your favorites, or the Surf & Turf a generous Delmonico fillet and Maine lobster tail @ $39.50 the duo, which is accompanied by smooth lemoncello beurre blanc sauce. You will dream about the taste for days to come.
And at $16.75 the Pork Loin Schnitzel with its shallot, white wine, lemon reduction shows the versatility of the kitchen.
A great wine list, and do save room for dessert – worth the calories!
Boys and girls, if you’ve been to The Lobster Pot in the past, you must revisit the interior transformation into an attractive upscale dining experience; and the Martini Lounge is worth a look-see! This truly is a Love Chef destination venue. Hurry over and enjoy!
