Description of Restaurant:

Following an appearance at “Daytime TV” studios downtown Tampa, I wanted to check out Howard Avenue and the new restaurants that over the years had been growing around Bern’s Steak House.

So while reading the lunch menu from stir fries, wraps, sushi, salads and more, Derek Jeter walked in and sat in the booth next to us. Our delicious food arrived and when we left I said hello to Jeter and told him that Regis is a great admirer of his (as he knows). Derek told me to say “Hi” to Regis for him. (Jeter’s home is in Tampa – his new big MANSION).

Boys and girls, Ciccio’s is a good lunch rendezvous set along this busy restaurant row.
