MAPLE GLAZED BAKED ACORN SQUASH

            3 medium acorn squash
            Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil for brushing
            6 small pats of butter
            1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
            1/3 cup maple syrup


Serves 6

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Wash and cut squash in half. Remove seeds, then brush flesh with the Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Bake cut side down until tender, about 45 minutes.

When cooked, put a pat of butter on each half and sprinkle with cinnamon. Brush top with maple syrup and return to oven for a few more minutes.
