Jimmy Neary, is often referred to as an Irish leprechaun (if you’ve ever seen one), but he does fit the commonly held description, greets you at the door most nights, and makes you feel like an ‘old friend’. He is an institution in these parts of New York City with locals, celebs and politicians. My friend Kathie Lee Gifford and her hubby Frank would go for the Lamb Chops, and recently had Jimmy on her Today Show. The dining room is reminiscent of old New York; large bar in front and tables in back. In addition to the regular menu: Cast of Characters – Dublin Broil/Chops/Steaks/Corned Beef Every day features specials that, when they are gone, they are gone until next week or ??? The service is friendly and homey. The drinks make us all cozy!! |
