Since our last visit to J. Basul Noble we were most surprised to visit them in their new location -- in the courtyard of a large office building.

The rotunda of half the restaurant has a glass room which makes for 'star and light' gazing at night, and sunlight in the day.

The bustling bar area is to the right of the main entrance, and around the inside of the rotunda is darker, intimate seating.

Tonight Jim (Jimmy) Noble was in the kitchen and the large cook staff had it all under control.

The very thought of a wood rotisserie made me hungrier (along with the two martinis).

The Food

You must taste the Cream of Tomato with Basil Creme Fraiolie (a signature dish) @ $5.50

Fried Oysters with greens dressed in a creamy balsamic bacon dressing (a signature dish) @ $11.00

The spit roasted items (may change daily) are a definite must.

Lamb top loin @ $23.00

Spit Roasted Chicken with grits and harricot beans @ $18.00

Grilled Duck Breast with dried cherry ginger port glace @ $27.00

Maybe you can't get enough of the delicious roasted and sauteed vegetables with olive oil -- well have a Main Course Platter @ $12.00

Wood Roasted Atlantic Salmon with chervil lemon butter @ $22.00

Yes, worth the calories!
