Small casual cafe located in the Hotel Rex, perfect for a quiet cocktail, a small bite or a satisfying dinner.

I discovered this local restaurant favorite from a local couple, who suggested it to me to satisfy my hunger and thirst after a long plane flight, and it did well with both. You can dine on a snack.

The Food

SMALL PLATES, such as:

Brie Fritters with mango and roasted figs @ $9.00; or

Filet Mignon Steak au Poivré with chili roasted endive @ $15.00.

MEDIUM PLATES:

Avocado, Mango & Ahi Tuna Tartar on a crispy cheese prepuso @ $11.00.

Sweet Corn Polenta with Humboldt Fog Cheese & sautéed oyster mushrooms @ $10.00.

LARGE PLATES:

Double cut Pork Chops with rioja reduction, Fresh bean and sweet corn ragout served over chayote gratia @ $16.00.

Sweet corn and questo fresco Ravioli with a chili-manchego cream sauce @ $11.00.

A good selection of cheeses and sweets; cordials, wines and spirits.

By all means, if travels take you to this San Francisco neighborhood, do drop in for a relaxing experience.
