The Colavita Center for Italian Food and Wine

The Colavita Center for Italian Food and Wine

Colavita USA is proud to announce the opening of the Colavita Center for Italian Food and Wine at the The Culinary Institute of America's Hyde Park Campus.

Under the careful and meticulous eye of CIA President Ferdinand Metz, the Colavita Center was
designed as an authentic 18,000 square foot TuscanItalian palazzo. As the only center of its kind in the world, the CIA will use the Colavita Center to significantly improve the quality and authenticity of Italian cuisine in the United States.

The Colavita Center's main hall will be the new, more spacious, and gracious location for the CIA's popular Caterina De' Medici Restaurant.

The Colavita Center includes a private meeting/dining room dedicated to the President of Colavita USA, John J. Profaci, through contributions made in his name by family, friends and associates.

Their web site also contains several photographs that were taken at the dedication ceremonies for the Colavita Center, on May 10, 2001. 'The Love Chef' was at the ribbon cutting.
